Nel Noddings: Making Schools Caring Places

Nel Noddings, one of North America's best known educators and author of several books including Educating Citizens for Global Awareness and Educating Moral People: A Caring Alternative to Character Education, will focus on the ethics of care. She will address the issues of relations, reciprocity, and virtue caring versus relational caring, using dialogue with participants and a number of specific recommendations and suggestions.

Conference attendees from out of town are invited to arrange their own lodging. There are a number of possibilities in the area. Some CSEE team members will be staying at the Courtyard Tinton Falls, not far from Ranney School. The price should be less than $100 before taxes.
